GDLotto 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game Rules (General)

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the operation of the GDLotto 5/90, 5/80, and 5/70 lottery games ("Game"), conducted under the Grand Dragon Lottery ("GDLotto") brand. The Game is operated by Redstar Lotus Nigeria Limited ("Company"), a licensed lottery operator.

The Company's registered office is located at: No. 56, Toyin Street, Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria.

Redstar Lotus Nigeria Limited operates under a license issued by the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority ("LSLGA"), authorizing both retail and online lottery operations.

The following rules are established by Redstar Lotus Nigeria Limited for the Games:

  1. Objective

    The purpose of these Rules is to govern the operation of the 5/90, 5/80, and 5/70 Games, which allow Participants to select numbers from a range of options based on the chosen game variant:

    • 5/90 Game : Select atleast two out of ninety balls numbered 1–90.
    • 5/80 Game : Select atleast two out of eighty balls numbered 1–80.
    • 5/70 Game : Select at least two out of seventy balls numbered 1–70.

    Each draw for the 5/90, 5/80, and 5/70 Games is conducted simultaneously, four times daily, seven days a week, from Monday to Sunday. Each draw will have a unique Draw ID assigned to it, applicable to all three games.

    Participants win by matching their selected numbers with the Winning Numbers or other gameplay-specific conditions outlined in these Rules. Detailed gameplay options, prize structures, and gameplay mechanics are explained in subsequent sections.

    1. Gameplay Options

      Participants can choose from a variety of gameplay options when participating in the 5/90, 5/80, or 5/70 Games.

      1. Single Entry Play

        Participants can select between Direct2, Direct3, Direct4, or Direct5, where:

        • Direct2: Match two Winning Numbers to win.
        • Direct3: Match three Winning Numbers to win.
        • Direct4: Match four Winning Numbers to win.
        • Direct5: Match all five Winning Numbers to win.
      2. Multiple Entry Play

        Participants can enhance their chances of winning by selecting additional gameplay options:

        • PERM2–PERM5: Generate all possible combinations of 2–5 numbers.
          • Example: For PERM2, selecting numbers 10, 20, 30 generates combinations 10-20, 10-30, and 20-30.
        • 1Banker: Pair a "banker" number with all other numbers.
        • Against: Select multiple numbers for TOP and BOTTOM and match at least one number in each group to win.
      3. Extended Play

        Participants may choose from the following advanced gameplay options:

        • Dual Chance (DC): Match selected numbers with either Winning Numbers or Machine Numbers.
        • Direct ALL: Choose 5 numbers to form a full combination, with 4 chances to win across different prize tiers.
  2. Interpretation
    1. The definitions below are applicable to these GDLotto 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game Rules (General), GDLotto 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game Rules (Outlet and Kiosk Betting), and GDLotto 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game Rules (Remote Betting) (collectively referred to as the "Rules"), unless the context otherwise requires:
      • General Terms
        • "Company": Refers to Redstar Lotus Nigeria Limited.
        • "Rules": Refers to the guidelines and procedures that govern how the 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Games are conducted, including the General Rules, Outlet and Kiosk Betting Rules, and Remote Betting Rules.
        • "Game": Refers to an individual lottery game, including the 5/90, 5/80, or 5/70 Game, each conducted simultaneously during the same draw with the same draw ID. The 5/90 Game may include both a version operated directly by the Company and a version operated by an authorized third party. All such Games are governed by these Rules and their specific conditions as outlined by the Company.
        • "Games": Refers to all lottery games offered by the Company, including but not limited to the 5/90, 5/80, and 5/70 Games, as well as other lottery products operated by the Company or authorized third parties.
      • Game-Specific Terms
        • "5/90, 5/80, and 5/70 Games": Refers to the lottery games operated by the Company, in which Participants place a wager on at least two number (ranging from 1-90, 1-80, or 1-70, respectively). A Participant wins if their purchased number(s) match any of the numbers drawn or adopted by the Company, as outlined in these Rules.
        • "Game ID": Refers to the unique identifier assigned to each draw conducted for the 5/90, 5/80, and 5/70 Games. The same Game ID is used across all three games to associate bets, results, and prizes with a specific draw.
        • "Winning Numbers": Refers to the primary set of numbers, specifically the first five numbers drawn during a draw. These numbers are used to determine the main game results for the 5/90, 5/80, and 5/70 Games.
        • "Machine Numbers": Refers to an additional set of numbers, specifically the last five numbers drawn separately during a draw. These numbers are used in specific gameplay options, such as Dual Chance (DC), to provide extra opportunities to win.
        • "Relevant Draw": The specific draw in which a Participant’s wager is entered, as selected by the Participant or assigned by the Company.
        • "Jackpot": Refers to the large fund of money formed by the accumulation of sales contributions from participating Games.
        • "Jackpot Game": Refers to a game where Participants wager to qualify for the Jackpot by matching the Winning Numbers drawn or adopted by the Company.
      • Betting and Participation
        • "Participant": Refers to a person participating in a Game under these Rules, including Account Holders and individuals placing bets at Outlets.
        • "Account": Refers to the account opened and operated by an Account Holder for placing bets via the Account Betting System, earning rewards points, and participating in Jackpot Games.
        • "Account Holder": Refers to a verified Participant with an Account used for placing bets with the Company via the Account Betting System.
        • "Remote Betting": Refers to the placement of bets on the 5/90, 5/80, or 5/70 Games through the use of the Account Betting System. Remote Betting allows Participants to access the Company’s games via online platforms, such as the Betting Website, mobile applications, or other digital channels authorized by the Company.
        • "Transaction History": Refers to the detailed record of an Account Holder’s transactions, including bets placed, rewards points accumulated, and claims processed. The Company maintains up to six (6) months of transaction details, accessible through the Company’s online platforms or as otherwise specified in these Rules.
        • "Bet" or "Bets": Refers to a wager made with the Company by a Participant, whether placed at an Outlet or via an Authorized Agent.
        • "Claimant": Refers to a person claiming a Prize under these Rules. This may include Participants who present a Winning Ticket or otherwise meet the requirements for claiming a Prize as determined by the Company.
        • "Prize": Refers to the monetary amount or other rewards payable by the Company to a Participant in respect of a Winning Ticket or other qualifying outcomes, in accordance with the applicable Prize Structure outlined in these Rules.
        • "Stake": Refers to the monetary amount offered by a Participant for a wager, paid in cash at an Outlet or via online payment through the Company's platforms.
        • "Winning Ticket": Refers to the ticket bearing the winning set of numbers for a Relevant Draw.
      • Systems and Tools
        • "Virtual Bet Slip System (VBS)": A self-service system designed for retail betting at Outlets or through Authorized Agents. It allows Participants to place wagers more accurately and independently. Participants can also insert their mobile number to convert tickets into Member Tickets.
        • "Bet Slip" refers to a document, physical or digital, used to record a participant's selected numbers, stake amount, and other relevant details for the 5/90, 5/80, or 5/70 Game.
          • Physical Bet Slips: Generated at Outlets and Kiosks, featuring a QR code for scanning by the Company's authorized Terminals.
          • Digital Bet Slips: Generated via the Virtual Bet Slip System (VBS) or Bet Slip Website, with QR codes enabling faster wager placement.
          • QR Codes: All QR codes remain valid indefinitely.
        • "Bet Slip Website": Refers to the website at https://vbs.gdlotto.ng or other Company-approved platforms for generating digital bet slips.
        • "Betting Website": Refers to the website at https://play.gdlotto.ng for placing bets, viewing results, and accessing other services offered by the Company.
        • "GDPoints Website": Refers to the website at gdpoints.ng, where participants can log in using their Betting Website credentials to view and redeem GDPoints.
      • Outlets and Authorized Agents
        • "Outlet": Refers to a branch operated by the Company or an Authorized Agent for purchasing tickets and placing bets.
        • "Kiosk": Refers to a physical location operated by an agent authorized by the Company to accept bets, sell tickets, and, in some cases, process claims.
        • "Authorized Agent": Refers to a retailer or mobile agent authorized by the Company to sell entries and bets for Games. Authorized Agents are also permitted to process claims and pay winnings to Participants, subject to specific payout limits set by the Company. Claims exceeding these limits must be processed directly by the Company or at designated locations.
      • Terminal, Tickets and Membership
        • "Terminal": Refers to a Ticket-issuing machine owned by the Company, used and operated by the Company or an Authorized Agent to issue and validate Tickets for the 5/90, 5/80, or 5/70 Games. Terminals may include:
          • Desktop-sized Terminals: Producing 80mm Tickets, used at larger retail locations.
          • Handheld-sized Terminals: Producing 58mm Tickets, designed for mobile or smaller-scale operations.
        • "Ticket" refers to a print-out issued by a Terminal, detailing the Bet(s) placed and accepted by the Company for the 5/90, 5/80, or 5/70 Game. Tickets are issued by desktop-sized Terminals (80mm) or handheld Terminals (58mm).
        • "Member Ticket": Refers to a lottery ticket linked to a Participant’s mobile number, enabling automatic accumulation of GDPoints.
        • "Copy Ticket" refers to a reprinted lottery ticket issued when the original ticket is incomplete or incorrectly printed due to technical issues (e.g., printer malfunction or paper running out). It is generated from the Company's database, marked with "COPY," and must be signed by the Company's administrator or an Authorized Agent.
      • Rewards and Loyalty Programs
        • "GDPoints": Refers to loyalty points awarded to Participants for wagering on the Company’s Games. These points can be accumulated and redeemed for rewards.
      • Betting Options
        • "Single Entry": Refers to a straightforward betting option where Participants select numbers for a specific draw. Participants may choose up to 5 numbers, and the available options include Direct2, Direct3, Direct4, and Direct5.
          • Direct2: Bet on exactly two numbers.
          • Direct3: Bet on exactly three numbers.
          • Direct4: Bet on exactly four numbers.
          • Direct5: Bet on exactly five numbers.
          • Participants can place bets on either the Winning Numbers or the Machine Numbers, as defined in the Rules. Each selection is considered a separate entry and is placed line by line, with results determined based on the draw outcome.
        • "Multiple Entry": Allows Participants to increase their winning chances through options like PERM, 1Banker, and Against.
          • "PERM": A betting method that generates all possible combinations of selected numbers.
            • PERM2: Permutation for Direct2 (two-number combinations).
              • Example: Selecting numbers 10, 20, 30 generates combinations: 10-20, 10-30, 20-30.
            • PERM3: Permutation for Direct3 (three-number combinations).
              • Example: Selecting numbers 10, 20, 30, 40 generates combinations: 10-20-30, 10-20-40, 10-30-40, 20-30-40.
            • PERM4: Permutation for Direct4 (four-number combinations).
              • Example: Selecting numbers 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 generates combinations: 10-20-30-40, 10-20-30-50, 10-20-40-50, 10-30-40-50, 20-30-40-50.
            • PERM5: Permutation for Direct5 (five-number combinations).
              • Example: Selecting numbers 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 generates combinations: 10-20-30-40-50, 10-20-30-40-60, 10-20-30-50-60, 10-20-40-50-60, 10-30-40-50-60, 20-30-40-50-60.
            • "1Banker": The Participant selects a single "banker" number and pairs it with all other numbers in the chosen game variant (5/90, 5/80, or 5/70 Games). The bet covers all possible combinations involving the banker number, increasing the cost but also enhancing the chances of winning. The Participant wins if the banker number is among the five Winning Numbers drawn. The payout is based on the Direct-2 prize structure and multiplies the remaining numbers.
              • Example: If the Participant selects to play 5/90 and chooses 45 as the banker, it will be paired with the other 89 numbers. If 45 is one of the five Winning Numbers drawn, the Participant wins.
              • Similarly, if the Participant chooses to play 5/80, the banker number will be paired with the remaining 79 numbers, and in 5/70, it will pair with the remaining 69 numbers.
            • "Against": This gameplay option allows the Participant to select multiple numbers for the TOP selection and pair them against a range of numbers for the BOTTOM The combined total of selected numbers for both TOP and BOTTOM cannot exceed 40 balls.
              • Winning Criteria: To win, at least one number from the TOP selection and one number from the BOTTOM selection must match the Winning Numbers.
              • Payout Calculation: The total winning lines are determined by multiplying the number of matching numbers from the TOP selection with those from the BOTTOM selection. The total payout is calculated by multiplying the stake amount by the total winning lines.
            • "Extended Play": Includes advanced betting options such as Dual Chance and Direct All5, increasing winning possibilities.
              • "Dual Chance (DC)": Refers to an Extended Gameplay option that provides Participants with two opportunities to win in a single draw. Participants select numbers for both Winning Numbers and Machine Numbers, and a match with either set qualifies as a win.
              • "Direct ALL": Refers to an Extended Gameplay option where Participants must select 5 balls to form a complete combination. Each line costs ₦100, and while the combination must include all 5 balls, Participants have up to four chances to win across different prize tiers based on the Winning Numbers.
            • "Lucky Pick": Refers to a feature that allows the system to randomly generate numbers for the Participant. Instead of manually selecting numbers, the system will automatically choose a set of numbers for the 5/90, 5/80, or 5/70 Games, providing Participants with a convenient and hassle-free way to play.
      • Other Definitions
        • "Fixed Payout": Guarantees that prize amounts for each tier will not be shared among winners.
        • "Registered Office": Refers to the Company’s registered office at 56, Toyin Street, Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria.
        • "Naira": Refers to the lawful currency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
    2. In the Rules, unless the context otherwise requires or save as is otherwise expressly provided:
      • the rule headings are for convenient reference only and have no effect in limiting or extending the language of the provisions to which they refer;
      • the singular includes the plural and vice versa;
      • references to a gender include but are not limited to references to any other gender as the context requires;
      • a reference to a Rule is a reference to a rule of the Rules, and references to "the Rules" shall, unless the context otherwise requires, include references to the GDLotto 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game Rules (Outlet and Kiosk Betting) and GDLotto 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game Rules (Remote Betting) ;
      • references to days, weeks, months or years are to calendar days, weeks, months or years;
      • "in writing" means any communication in any written form or means, including but not limited to e-mail, facsimile transmission, letters and memoranda; and
      • where a word or phrase is given a particular meaning, other parts of speech and grammatical forms of that word or phrase have corresponding meanings.
  3. Participation in 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game and Draws
    1. To participate in the 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game, the Participant has to either place a Bet through the Account Betting System, or buy a Ticket at the Outlet, or through the Authorised Agent. Details on how to place Bets and buy Tickets are set out in the GDLotto 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game Rules (Outlet and Kiosk Betting) and GDLotto 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game Rules (Remote Betting).
    2. Draws shall be held at such place, on such date, at such time and in such manner as may be decided by the Company.
    3. Each draw shall have a draw number which shall be communicated to the Participant in such manner as may be decided by the Company (including but not limited to the printing of the draw number on the Tickets for that draw).
    4. The Company may:-
      • Conduct the draws live in the Company’s studio or through other approved methods, including the use of Random Number Generator (RNG) technology or electronic systems, either independently or in collaboration with an organization selected by the Company from time to time; or
      • Adopt the winning numbers, including the Jackpot and any additional lucky prizes, from the Company’s in-house draw results or from draw results conducted by other operators or third parties, provided such results are deemed reliable and compliant with applicable regulations, to be used as the winning numbers for the draws governed by these Rules.
      • Draw Time and Frequency: The 5/90, 5/80, and 5/70 Game have 4 daily draws from Monday to Saturday at 9:45 AM, 12:45 PM, 3:45 PM, and 8:45 PM. On Sunday, the last draw is at 6:45 PM, with the other draws at the same times as the rest of the week (9:45 AM, 12:45 PM, and 3:45 PM). All times are in Nigeria time (GMT +1). Results can be viewed on the GDLotto website or at authorized outlets.
      • Draw Time and Frequency: The 5/90, 5/80, and 5/70 Games have 4 daily draws conducted by the Company:
        • Monday to Saturday: 9:45 AM, 12:45 PM, 3:45 PM, and 8:30 PM.
        • Sunday: 9:45 AM, 12:45 PM, 3:45 PM, and 6:45 PM (final draw).
        For Third-Party Draws:
        • Games using results from third-party operators will follow the draw times set by those operators.
        • If third-party draws are delayed, cancelled, or otherwise unavailable, the affected Game results may also be postponed, rescheduled, or voided at the Company’s discretion.
        • The Company reserves the right to discontinue using third-party results with prior notice to Participants as deemed necessary.
        Result Publication:
        • Results for Company-operated draws will be published immediately after verification on the Company’s website and all other result channels owned by the Company.
        • Results for third-party draws may experience delays beyond the Company’s control. Once verified, these results will also be published through the same channels.
        All draw times are in Nigeria Time (GMT +1).
        • For Games adopting results from other operators or third parties: The draw times for these Games will depend on the schedules set by the respective operators. If such draws are postponed, cancelled, or otherwise unavailable, the affected Game results may also be delayed, rescheduled, or voided at the Company’s discretion. The Company reserves the right to modify or discontinue the adoption of third-party results at any time, with prior notice to Participants as deemed necessary.
        • All draw times are in Nigeria Time (GMT +1). Results can be viewed on the Company’s website or at authorized outlets.
    5. Public Access to Results: All draw results conducted by the Company will be published immediately after verification on the website and all other result channels owned by the Company, including authorized outlets.
      • For Games adopting results from third-party operators, the publication of results may be subject to delays due to circumstances beyond the Company’s control. Once received and verified, these results will also be published through the same channels.
      • Participants are encouraged to check the official Company’s website or other Company-owned result channels for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
    6. Error Handling: In the event of technical issues during the draw, the Company reserves the right to correct or reschedule the draw and notify participants accordingly.
    7. Error Handling: In the event of technical issues, disruptions, or unforeseen circumstances affecting the conduct, integrity, or outcome of the draw, the Company reserves the right to:
      • Void the Draw: Declare the affected draw void if it cannot be conducted or verified properly.
      • Reschedule the Draw: Reschedule the draw to a later time or date and notify participants accordingly.
      • Correct Errors: Correct any errors identified during or after the draw, including issues with result publication or processing.
      • The Company’s decision regarding the handling of such issues shall be final and binding. Participants acknowledge and agree that the Company shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss resulting from such events, provided reasonable measures are taken to address the situation.
    8. Equipment Faults or Failures: If, during the course of any draw, a fault, failure, or malfunction occurs in any equipment or system associated with the draw, the Company, at its sole discretion, may:
      • Declare Draw Results as Valid: Determine that the numbers drawn prior to the fault are valid and duly drawn.
      • Void the Affected Draw: Declare the draw, or any portion of it, as void if the integrity of the draw has been compromised.
      • Conduct a New Draw: Initiate a new draw using the same equipment or alternative equipment, as deemed appropriate by the Company.
      • The Company’s decision in such instances shall be final and binding. Participants acknowledge that the Company shall not be held liable for any delay, loss, or inconvenience caused by such occurrences, provided reasonable measures are taken to resolve the issue promptly and transparently.
    9. An intending Participant may, if permitted by the Company, enter the 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game for consecutive draws as decided by the Company from time to time. The provisions of these GDLotto 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game Rules (General) shall apply to each consecutive entry for each such draw. Entries for consecutive draws in the 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game may be made through the Account Betting System, an Authorised Agent, or at an Outlet, where available.
    10. Consecutive Draw Entries: Participants may, subject to the Company’s discretion, enter the 5/90, 5/80, or 5/70 Game for consecutive draws as determined by the Company from time to time. Each consecutive entry will be governed by the provisions of these GDLotto 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game Rules (General), and the rules will apply independently to each draw for which an entry has been made. Entries for consecutive draws may be placed through the following channels, where available:
      • Account Betting System: Via the Company’s online platform.
      • Authorised Agents: Through approved representatives or agents.
      • Outlets: At Company-authorized physical locations.
      • The Company reserves the right to amend the availability or terms of consecutive draw entries at any time, with notice provided as appropriate.
  4. Stake
    1. Minimum Stake: The minimum stake payable for each entry in a standard draw is 5 Naira. Participants may choose any stake amount equal to or greater than 5 Naira (e.g., 6 Naira, 18 Naira, etc.).
    2. Gameplay-Specific Stakes: For gameplay options such as PERM, 1Banker, and Against, the stake will vary depending on the number of combinations covered. The more combinations selected, the higher the total stake. However, the minimum stake per entry remains 5 Naira.
    3. Stake Limits: The Company reserves the right to impose limits on the total stake amount for any specific combination or gameplay option at its sole discretion.
    4. Non-Refundable Stakes:
      • All stakes paid for entries in the 5/90, 5/80, and 5/70 Games are non-refundable, regardless of whether the Participant wins or loses.
      • Refunds will only be considered in cases where:
        • Errors in wager processing are proven to be caused by the Company’s systems or staff.
        • The Company cancels a draw and no substitute draw is offered.
      • Refund requests must be submitted in writing through the Company’s official support channels within 48 hours of the issue arising.
      • The Company’s decision regarding refunds shall be final and binding.
    5. Taxes and Compliance: Stakes do not include any applicable taxes, levies, or duties. Participants are responsible for complying with all tax requirements as mandated under Nigerian law.
    6. Use of Vouchers and Credits: Vouchers, coupons, or credits issued by the Company may be used to place bets, subject to the terms and conditions associated with those vouchers or credits.
  5. Participation by Straight Play Entry or Perm Play Entry
    1. An intending Participant may participate in the 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 game by making:
      1. Single Entry for 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game;
      2. Multiple Entry for 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game;
      3. Extended Play for 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game;
      4. Lucky Pick for 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game;
      as may be made available for participation by such mode and in such manner as may be decided by the Company from time to time.
    2. A Participant in the 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game, whether playing under Single Entry, Multiple Entry or Extended Play, is entitled to a prize if any permutation of their selected number(s) matches one or more of the winning numbers drawn for that particular draw, as outlined in the GDLotto 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game Rules (General).
    3. The Company may, at its discretion, offer the option to participate in the 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game through Single Entry, Multiple Entry, Extended Play, or other methods. These options may be made available at Outlets, through Authorized Agents, and/or via the Account Betting System, subject to conditions determined by the Company from time to time.
  6. Prizes and Winning Numbers
    1. The prizes, winning numbers drawn by the Company (or its agent or a third party nominated, selected or appointed by it) for the Relevant Draw shall be as follows:
      1. Prize Structure for Single Entry and Multiple Entry (Direct Play and PERM Play). This section applies to Single Entry (Direct 2, Direct 3, Direct 4, Direct 5) and Multiple Entry (PERM, 1Banker, Against).

      2. Prize Structure for Extended Play (Double Chance). This section applies to the Extended Play gameplay option, specifically Double Chance, where participants can win by matching numbers with either the Winning Numbers or Machine Numbers.
        Game Play Match Criteria

    2. Fixed Payout and MRP: The 5/90, 5/80, and 5/70 Games use the Fixed Payout feature to determine prizes.
      1. Fixed Payout Example: If a Participant selects two numbers (Direct 2) and wins with a payout rate of 250 Naira per Naira staked, they will receive the full payout for their stake, regardless of how many others win the same prize. For example:
        • If the Participant stakes 10 Naira and wins with Direct 2, their payout will be 10 x 250 = 2,500 Naira.
        • This payout is not shared or divided, even if multiple Participants win the same prize.
    3. Checking Results: Participants are responsible for verifying the results of the Relevant Draw by referring to the official information published on the Company’s website (gdlotto.ng) or the Bet Slip Website (https://play.gdlotto.ng). If any errors are discovered after the initial release of results, the Company reserves the right to correct them. The final results of the Relevant Draw will be based on the rectified version, if corrections are made.
  7. General
    1. These GDLotto 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game Rules (General) apply to all draws for the 5/90, 5/80, and 5/70 Games. Together with the specific rules for GDLotto 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game Rules (Outlet and Kiosk Betting) and GDLotto 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game Rules (Remote Betting), they form the agreement between the Company and the Participant.
    2. In case of inconsistency, the following order of precedence applies:
      • GDLotto 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game Rules (General)
      • GDLotto 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game Rules (Outlet and Kiosk Betting) or GDLotto 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game Rules (Remote Betting).
    3. The Company may change ticket prices, bet stakes, prizes, or the prize structure at its discretion.
    4. Rules may be amended at any time. Notifications will be provided through the Account Betting System and at Outlets. By placing a bet, Participants agree to the current Rules, which are available on the Company Website and Account Betting System.
    5. In case of a translation inconsistency, the English version prevails.
    6. The Company, its officers, and agents are not liable for any loss or damage arising from:
      1. Lost tickets;
      2. Payments made to the wrong person;
      3. Compliance with the game rules;
      4. Reliance on inaccurate information;
      5. Failure to correct bet details before leaving the sales counter.
    7. The Company reserves the right to reject any bet or ticket purchase request at its discretion.
    8. Fraud Prevention:
      1. Monitoring and Detection: The Company actively monitors activities to detect and prevent fraudulent behaviour, using advanced systems to ensure fairness and the integrity of the Games.
      2. Identity Verification: Participants may be required to verify their identity at any point. Failure to provide sufficient identification may lead to the suspension of their account or forfeiture of winnings.
      3. Prohibited Activities: Fraudulent activities, including tampering with the draw process, falsifying identity documents, or attempting to claim prizes through deceptive means, are strictly prohibited.
      4. Consequences of Fraud: Any Participant found engaging in fraudulent activities will have their account suspended or terminated, and any associated winnings forfeited. The Company reserves the right to take legal action if necessary.
      5. Reporting Fraud: Suspected fraudulent activity should be reported immediately through the Company’s official support channels. Reports will be handled confidentially.
    9. Intellectual Property
      1. Ownership: All intellectual property rights related to the Games, including but not limited to trademarks, logos, designs, game mechanics, software, and results, are owned exclusively by the Company (Redstar Lotus Nigeria Limited).
      2. Prohibited Activities: Participants and third parties are strictly prohibited from:
        • Using, reproducing, or distributing the Company’s intellectual property, including Game results, without prior written consent.
        • Modifying, reverse-engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Company’s proprietary systems.
        • Sharing or publishing unauthorized draw results on any platform, including websites, social media, or messaging applications.
      3. Protection and Enforcement: The Company actively monitors for violations of its intellectual property rights and reserves the right to take legal action against unauthorized use, including seeking damages and injunctions where applicable.
      4. Modifications: Participants and third parties may not alter any systems, materials, or game-related content provided by the Company, including digital assets and software.
    10. Only the ticket holder or Account Holder has any rights to the ticket or bet.
    11. The Company is not liable for losses due to unavailability or failure of its computer systems or the Account Betting System.
    12. Participants must be 18 or older to purchase a ticket or claim a prize.
    13. Purchasing a ticket or placing a bet binds the Participant to these GDLotto 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game Rules (General) and any specific rules for GDLotto 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game Rules (Outlet and Kiosk Betting) or GDLotto 5/90, 5/80, 5/70 Game Rules (Remote Betting).
    14. Disputes not covered by the Rules will be decided by the Company, whose decision is final.
      1. Communication of Disputes:

        Any dispute must be communicated in writing to the Company within 30 days of the Relevant Draw through the Company’s official channels.

      2. Internal Resolution:

        The Company will attempt to resolve disputes through its customer service team.

      3. Mediation/Arbitration:

        If a dispute cannot be resolved internally, independent mediation or arbitration may be pursued. Costs will be shared by the disputing parties unless agreed otherwise.

      4. Final Decision:

        The Company reserves the right to make the final decision unless a court of law or arbitrator rules otherwise.

      5. Timeframe for Resolution:

        The Company aims to resolve disputes within 60 days of receiving the complaint.

    15. All payments will be made in Naira.
    16. The Company’s failure to enforce any rule does not waive its right to enforce it in the future.
    17. Participants must not have any conflict of interest when participating in the Games.
    18. These rules are governed by the laws of Nigeria.
    19. The courts of Nigeria have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes related to these Rules.
  8. Responsible Gambling
    1. The Company encourages responsible gambling and provides the following tools and resources:
      1. Set Personal Limits: Participants can set daily, weekly, or monthly spending limits through the Account Betting System.
      2. Self-Exclusion: Participants may request exclusion from playing for a specified period through the Account Betting System.
